USS Co., Ltd. — Japan's largest used vehicle auction operator with more than 30 auction sites nationwide — has reported that February 2026 saw a record-breaking 482,000 vehicles offered across its network, surpassing the previous all-time monthly record of 461,000 set in October 2024.

The high volume is good news for exporters — more supply generally means more choice and competitive pricing. Grade 3.5 and Grade 4 vehicles in the popular SUV and compact categories were well represented, giving overseas buyers a wide selection at competitive price points.
